BROW LAMINATION FAQS
Brow Lamination FAQs: Welcome
So, what even is brow lamination?
It's essentially a perm/lash lift but for your eyebrows.
It's designed to give the illusion of fuller brows by using the hairs you already have and changing the placement of them.
Am I going to leave with crazy, dramatic brows like I've seen on Instagram?
Only if you want to.
All brow Lam does, is allow you to style your brows more easily than you normally can. If you want a more natural look, then just style them that way, but if a more extreme bold look is for you, go for it.
The point is, it's all your choice.
What if I don't like it?
Like I mentioned above, the best thing about it, is that you can style them however you please, so just brush them into a more 'natural' look until it's completely grown out.
I don't have a lot of brow hair, is this going to work for me?
The best thing about this service is that we can create the look of fuller, thicker brows using just your own hair. So, it's really perfect for most people.
My brows are uneven/cowlicked/sticky up on the ends, will this work for me?
This service was MADE for brows like this, it is perfect at 'resetting' the brow hairs into their ideal position, giving more symmetrical looking brows.
Can I get them coloured at the same time?
Yes, our most popular brow lamination treatment included a tint, and you can also choose to have them dyed instead if you'd rather.
How long does it last?
As your brow hairs fall out and replace themselves, you'll find it just get slowly harder to style your brows then you could right after they were done. You'll be able to get them re-done in 8-10 weeks.
Is there anything I need to do with my brows after I get them Laminated?
Yes, this service changes the way your hairs sit but it doesn't make them stuck like that 24/7, so you will need to style them every morning in the position you like, and because the treatment can be quite drying to your brows, we do recommend using a conditioning treatment every day afterwards to re-hydrate your hair.
What is the aftercare for my brows?
For 24 hours after, you need to keep them dry, avoid touching them and most of all, no sleeping on your brows (if you're a side or face sleeper - tonight only you'll need to sleep on your back)
For 48 hours, no products on your brows at all. And for 3 days afterwards, you need to stay away from active skin care on your brows and exfoliates too.
Anything I need to know before I get my brows laminated?
Please don't trim your brows before getting them laminated or come in with any self-tan on your face.
If you are using retinol (vitamin A) citric acid or glycolic acid, you need to stop using them for at least 5 days before your appointment.
Some people are not good candidates for brow lam, if you are unsure, ask for a free consultation.
